If you have purchased a Cognitive, SATO America, or Zebra Technologies printer directly from Digi-Trax or through one of our distributors, we will service the printer for you.

No matter WHEN your purchased the printer, we will provide you with FREE telephone technical support.

   
     
  Steps to getting your Digi-Trax printer repaired:  
     
 
  • Call Maria Suarez, Technical Support Administrator, at 847-613-2132 who will determine the best course of action for your printer problem.

  • If our Technical Staff is not able to help you, they will provide you with a Return Materials Authorization (RMA) number.

  • Please note:  while we do provide a repair estimate to you before we move forward, you pay a $125 labor charge plus parts for Cognitive Solutions, Epson and Zebra Desktop printers.  At this time, please provide a P.O or credit card number.

    The labor charge for each Sato America and Zebra Tabletop printer is $200 for labor plus parts.

  • If we find during repair that additional work needs to be done that will increase the original estimate by 10% or more, we will contact you to obtain authorization if it has not previously been given.

  • To return your printer(s), place in a carton(s).  Clearly mark or label "RETURNED for REPAIRS" on the outside of the carton.
  • Please include:
    -The RMA form (that we will provide to you) in the printer carton.
    -Also include your sample labels, wristbands, or ribbons in the carton please, but outside the printer itself.
    -Any special instructions

  • We will repair your printer within five working days.  In the rare event that we do not have the required parts available, the repair may take longer.

  • You have the option to get your printer back overnight once it is repaired for an additional $100 or you may provide us with your UPS or Fed Ex account number.  There will be a $4 processing fee for using your shipping accounts.  We do charge you for shipping the printer.  If we must provide you with a return shipping container, there will be an additional charge of $100.  We urge you to keep your original packaging to eliminate the possibility of damage to both the printer and the packaging.  We automatically insure your printer for its value.
